US airways are running another of their 100% bonus on purchased miles (tiered bonus). By buying the maximum miles you can get a total of 100,000 miles for just over £1000. That’s enough miles to fly to North Asia, Africa and the Middle East in first class from Europe. If you fly Business class you can pretty much fly anywhere in the world. Taxes and Fuel surcharges are still applicable.

- Buy 10,000 – 19,000 miles, get 50% bonus miles

- Buy 20,000 – 29,000 miles, get 75% bonus miles

Verdict:

Personally, I’m not a big fan of buying miles. But a lot of people do support the purchase of miles and this is especially the case when you get an additional 100% bonus miles. If you want to fly business class or first class than taking advantage of this promotion will guarantee you the cheapest price for your ticket. For a economy flyer this promotion provides no benefit at all.
