In the last few days sales have appeared on both British Airways Executive Club and Iberia Plus for rewards redemption. I have mentioned theses sales on a post titled ‘Avios 50% off flight redemption‘ and ‘Iberia have their own Avios redemption sale‘.
Both British Airways Executive Club and Iberia Plus use Avios as their rewards currency. In addition you are able to transfer your Avios between the two accounts. Therefore if you have a British Airways Executive Club account and have spare Avios you are able to transfer them across to your Iberia Plus Account, and vice versa.
This post will provide a step by step guide on How to transfer your Avios from your Executive Club to your Iberia Plus account:
1. Log on to your British Airways Executive Club account.
2. Click on ‘Executive club’ ==> ‘Manage my account’.
3. On the Manage my account screen, click on ‘Combine my Avios’ button.
4. On the Combine Avios points screen, click on the ‘Combine my Avios’ button.
5. in the Select programme drop down, select ‘ Iberia Plus’
6. Enter your Iberia Plus details and click on the ‘Log in & continue’ button.
7. Under, which way do you want to move Avios?, tick the British Airways to Iberia Plus option and enter the amount of Avios you wish to transfer. Then click the ‘ Review Combine my Avios’ button.
8. In the, Please confirm Combine my Avios details screen, click on the ‘Combine my Avios’ button.
9. You should then receive a confirmation and your points should now appear in you Iberia Plus account.
