Then the Avios sale is ideal for you. If you have 9,000 or 15,000 Avios points you could spend your Avios points on return flights from the UK to places like Amsterdam, Madrid, Rome etc for just £1.
Details:
The following destinations are included in the sale:
- Amsterdam
- Barcelona
- Dublin
- Jersey
- Lisbon
- Madrid
- Nice
- Rome
You have until noon on the 15 January to book on the Avios website or the British Airways Executive Club website.
You will need to fly between 31 January and 31 May.
If you need to cancel your flight, you will lose your £1 but your Avios points will be returned to you.
Verdict:
Even without this sale, I would recommend spending your Avios points on Rewards Flight Saver tickets. Rewards Flight Saver tickets are one of the best ways to use your Avios points because they place a set fee (tax + fuel surcharge) which is normally £35, but as a result of this sale the fee is reduced to £1.
